Red Yeast Rice Plus Capsules

PLANT POWER FOR THE HEART

Red mould rice extract is obtained by fermenting rice with a noble mould called Monascus purpureus. During the process, substances are produced that give the rice an intense red colour. One of the most important active components of red yeast rice are the monacolins, in particular monacolin K.

We combine the monacolin-rich red rice with two well-known plants and coenzyme Q10. But it's not just the combination that makes our product so special: we don't use simple plant powders, but a highly concentrated bergamot extract with 40% bioflavonoids and an artichoke leaf extract standardised to at least 2.5% cynarin.

Red yeast rice has traditionally been used in Chinese folk medicine for various ailments. The main active ingredient monacolin K has been subject to various studies [investigating its effects on cholesterol metabolism and cardiovascular health].
