OUR IRON SUPPLEMENT: CAREFULLY DOSED & EFFECTIVELY COMBINED

Our iron capsules provide 30 mg of iron from high quality iron bisglycinate. This is a chelated form of iron where the iron is bound to the amino acid glycine, which improves its absorption and reduces the occurrence of gastrointestinal side effects common with other forms of iron.

For improved absorption of iron, our iron complex contains natural vitamin C from acerola fruit extract. The four selected B vitamins (B2, B6, folate and B12) are closely related to iron metabolism in the body. Together, the contained vitamins and minerals support blood formation, the immune system and energy metabolism, and help reduce fatigue and tiredness.

GOOD TO KNOW

• Iron is considered an essential trace element and must therefore be taken in with food. It is mainly found in animal foods. Therefore, vegetarians and vegans in particular should take special care to meet their daily iron needs.
• Avoid taking it together with coffee, tea, milk, soy and wine as they contain substances that can inhibit iron absorption.
