UNIQUE COMBINATION

Berberine is a natural alkaloid used in traditional Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine. We use a highly concentrated 50:1 extract from the root of the barberry with 97% berberine and combine this with an extract from fermented black garlic. This particularly valuable medicinal plant, together with piperine from pepper and chromium, optimally supports the effect of berberine.

In addition to the three valuable plant extracts from barberry, black garlic, and black pepper, our product contains 40 μg chromium (100% NRV) as chromium picolinate. This form provides particularly bioavailable chromium, which fulfills important functions in energy metabolism. Chromium contributes to a normal blood sugar level and a normal metabolism of carbohydrates, fats, and proteins. It goes without saying that our product is laboratory-tested, free from genetic engineering and additives, and suitable for vegans.

SPECIALLY DEVELOPED FOR

Plant species that contain berberine are common in the traditional Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine for its various effects on e.g. blood pressure and circulatory disorders. Black garlic is known for its high content of phytonutrients such as polyphenols, alkaloids and the compound SAllyl-cysteine (SAC) which have antiinflammatory and antioxidant properties.

• Berberine, yellowish in colour in its natural state, can be found in a variety of plants including several barberries, goldenseal, tree turmeric, and Oregon grape.
