Cinnamon is extracted from the bark of the tropical cinnamon tree and is one of the oldest spices in the world. Cinnamon was once considered more valuable than gold and is still very popular today. As numerous studies have unraveled the health benefits of cinnamon over the past few years, it also has become increasingly popular as a food supplement.

For our product we use the noble Ceylon cinnamon, also known as ""real cinnamon"" - not cheap cassia cinnamon. Compared to Cassia, Ceylon cinnamon contains significantly less coumarin, a substance that can cause liver damage in large quantities. Thanks to regular analyses by independent German laboratories, we can continually guarantee the low coumarin content in our product. Each of our capsules provides 250 mg Ceylon cinnamon extract which corresponds to 2500 mg Ceylon Cinnamon. With cinnamon being rich in phytonutrients, an extract is superior to powdered cinnamon, as it contains a higher concentration of those valuable substances.
