ANTIOXIDANT FOR THE BODY
NAC is a chemically more stable form of the sulfur-containing amino acid L-cysteine and is converted into L-cysteine in the liver. Cysteine is needed by the body for the biosynthesis of glutathione—one of the body's most powerful antioxidants, which protects our cells from free radicals. As we age or experience high oxidative stress, our glutathione reserves decrease. When sufficient L-cysteine is available, it can be quickly converted into glutathione.
Our capsules contain 600 mg of pure NAC derived from corn glucose and are free from fillers or synthetic additives. As always, our product is 100% vegan.
