The level of silicon in our bodies decreases with advancing age. However, this mineral is involved in the formation of bones, hair, nails, cartilage and skin. It can be useful to supplement it to strengthen bones and connective tissues (skin, hair, nails).

Our silicon is not synthetic, but 100% natural. It is in fact obtained from an organic bamboo (Bambusa arundinacea) extract. Bamboo stem is naturally rich in organic silicon, which has greater bioavailability and bioactivity.

Naturally, our product is GMO-free, additive-free and suitable for vegans.

THE IMPORTANCE OF

• Silicon is normally present in water as a free-floating mineral and is said to be particularly abundant in glacial rivers. Rather than existing as a separate ion, it tends to form various 'colloidal minerals' in which it binds and attracts water. This configuration sometimes includes other minerals and free ions found in some water supplies.

It is also found in many plants (e.g. horsetail or bamboo).

• Pure silicon has the same crystal structure as diamond, which is composed of carbon, the element found above silicon in the periodic table.
• Silicon is the second most abundant element in the earth's crust. In the form of silicon dioxide/silica (SiO2), it is the most common compound in the earth's crust.
• Among the first tools used by man were sharp flints made of silica. In the Stone Age, these tools included tools for hunting (such as arrows and spears) and for woodworking (such as scrapers and hoes).
