The cells in our body are constantly dividing and multiplying. Cell divisions are highly important for many bodily processes and functions, including growth, repair, metabolism and many more. During cell division, DNA is replicated and then tightly packed into chromosomes - the so-called telomeres- are becoming shorter, which increases the risk for certain diseases.
Fortunately, certain enzymes in our body are capable of lengthening those telomeres again: the sirtuins. Sirtuins are nicotinamide-dependent and can be activated by certain molecules. One of them is resveratrol. Our combination of resveratrol and nicotinamide therefore makes an effective combination that contributes to cellular homeostasis and positively influences the aging process.

Beside the unique combination of resveratrol and nicotinamide to enhance the effectiveness, our product also contains the highest dose of resveratrol on the market: 500 mg per capsule.
Resveratrol is a natural antioxidant with plenty of health benefits. However, it is only found in small amounts in a few foods like peanuts, pistachios, grapes, red and white wine, blueberries, cranberries, cocoa and dark chocolate.
We chose Japanese knotweed (Polygonum cuspidatum or Fallopia japonica) as a natural source as it is characterized by highest content of resveratrol (98%). It naturally contains trans-resveratrol, the most stable and effective form of the antioxidant. As always, our product is suitable for vegans, non-GMO and free from additives.
