NATURAL AND PURE
Our Tryptophan is obtained from fermentation and is therefore natural. This guarantees not only a product free from chemical residues like solvents but also high bioavailability. Moreover, our product is extensively analysed by an independent German laboratory and its purity of at least 99% is guaranteed.
One capsule contains 500 mg L-tryptophan and nothing more. With none of the extra additives that are commonly found in other products, our capsules are non-GMO and, of course, suitable for vegans.
SPECIALLY DEVELOPED FOR
- L - Tryptophan is an essential amino acid: the body cannot synthesise it and it must be obtained from the diet. It is an important precursor for the endogenous synthesis of the neurotransmitters serotonin, melatonin and vitamin B3 (niacin). For this reason, it could be useful for people with mood instability or sleep disorders.
GOOD TO KNOW
- In 1901 the British biochemists Frederick Gowland Hopkins and Sydney W. Cole discovered tryptophan in the milk protein casein.
- It is present in most protein-based foods or dietary proteins. The best vegan sources are chocolate, oat, dried dates, sesame, sunflower seeds and chickpeas.
- Eating a banana can cheer you up: bananas are the only fruit to contain L-trypotphan and vitamin B5 which together can help the body to produce serotonin
