VEGAN VITAMIN D3 & K2 OIL CAPS
Vitamin D3 and K2 have synergistic functions in calcium metabolism and thus bone health. Therefore, it is recommended to supplement both vitamins together. Due to their fat-soluble nature, vitamin D3 and K2 are best absorbed by the body when combined with a source of fat. That’s why our supplement contains MCT oil, making it a great alternative to D3 + K2 capsules containing only powder.
For our product we use vitamin D3 cholecalciferol, the most important physiological vitamin D form. It is obtained from lichen and does not originate from sheep, as is commonly used in non-vegan D3 supplements. We also use natural, fermentation-based menaquinone-7 (K2 MK-7) in a highly pure and bioactive all-trans form as a source of vitamin K2. Vitamin D3 K2 soft gel capsules typically contain animal-derived gelatine and tend to leak easily. For our product we use vegan and leakproof GreenCaps that are free from gelatine, chemical fillers, and release agents.
