Our Chaga comes from organic cultivation. It is produced in China, where the tradition around medicinal mushrooms was born and where they have been cultivated for centuries. We chose an organically cultivated Chaga that is non-GMO, lab-tested and free from pesticides and other contaminants. This is particularly important for mushrooms as they absorb whatever they are grown in, including chemical substances or heavy metals.

We chose a highly dosed organic Chaga extract (10:1), so one capsule with 600 mg extract corresponds to at least 6000 mg of dried organic Chaga. Moreover, we standardised our extract to 40% polysaccharides and 30% beta-glucans which are the most valuable bioactive substances found in mushrooms with various health benefits. Finally, our Chaga capsules are, as always, 100% vegan!

• 400 years ago, North Europeans incorporated Chaga into their folk medicine.
• 60 years ago, Finns began using Chaga Mushroom as a coffee substitute.
• Chaga was found in the pocket of Ötzi, also called the Iceman: the natural mummy of a man who lived sometime between 3350 and 3105 BC, discovered in September 1991 in the Ötztal Alps (hence the nickname ""Ötzi"") on the border between Austria and Italy.
• Russian scientists have managed to make a cream out of chaga for joints and veins. They developed a system of microcapsules, which allows chaga mushroom ingredients to easily penetrate the skin and work directly in the joint.
