Description
GUM RESIN OF INDIAN MYRRH
Guggul is made from the sap (resin) secreted by the exotic Mukul myrrh tree (Commiphora Mukul) that grows in India and North Africa. Guggul has been used for thousands of years in Ayurvedic culture to treat digestive and metabolic issues. Numerous studies could confirm the properties of guggul over the past few years, which is why the guggul plant is also becoming more and more popular today.
So what makes guggul so special? Guggul contains more than 60 different phytochemicals that the plant itself developed to survive the harsh conditions of the desert. Among them are gallic acid, quercetin, guggulsterone and flavones. For this reason, we chose not only a highly dosed extract (15:1) but also one that is standardised to 5% guggulsterones, one of the main active compounds found in guggul. Our guggul supplement is free from any additives and 100% vegan!
